Mpho is the first of the new generation of engineers who has joined us all the way from South Africa! She is excited to learn and share in Peter’s knowledge. Mpho has a passion for finding the best solution and partners with you every step of the way.

Peter is the founder of Visicon. He is a machine vision and control systems specialist who has a passion for helping inspire the next generation of engineers. A few minutes discussing a project with Peter, and you know you're in good hands. It's his honest, no-nonsense approach, and breadth of experience, that he is known for throughout the industry.

SENIOR MACHINE VISION ENGINEER

Kam brings many years of experience solving machine vision applications with Cognex products. His unflapable demeanour and attention to detail continues to fill customers with confidence.
Kam keeps the engineers on track. Ensuring customers get what they need, when they need it.

CHIEF MISCHIEF MAKER

Harper is Visicon’s chief mischief maker. Whether she is channelling her inner trash panda or wanting snuggles and attention, she has bounced her way into the team’s hearts.

OFFICE SUPPORT MANAGER

Tara keeps the office humming! As our Office Support Manager, she’s the go-to for knowing where everyone is supposed to be, organising, and adding a splash of fun to the daily grind. With a knack for juggling chaos, Tara ensures everything runs smoothly, keeping both the team and the office in top shape.

SYSTEM ENGINEER

Dolbin initially joined the team as our 2025 summer intern but fitted in so well, he never left! Dolbin holds an MSc in Automation & Robotics and has been busy building on that knowledge to become our resident specialist for all things robotic; robots, Mech-Mind 3D vision and flexible feeding.

STUDENT ENGINEER

Born to game...forced to work!
Visicon is very much a family affair and Aidan spends a fair portion of his school holidays picking up some extra cash in the lab. Despite his young age, Aidan is proficient with Cognex cameras and robotics. Most recently, he has been putting his programming skills to good use developing software plug-ins.

MARKETING ASSOCIATE

As a former aerospace engineer turned photographer, Dan has a unique way of capturing engineering and manufacturing content.
Dan runs Dan Barker Studios and spends a portion of his time heading up Visicon's marketing and social media.
